Chicago-area non-profit organizations were invited to select an award from a list of technology services provided by onShore Networks. The clinic serves thousands of children from 50 Cook County west suburban communities and Chicago. The Children’s Clinic, an ongoing user of onShore Networks’s Spectrum Remote Managed IT Service, will be selecting from the other award packages: onGuard Managed Firewall, Colocation Service, Internet Connectivity, or Phone System.

i.c.stars (icstars.org): i.c.stars provides a rigorous technology-based workforce development and leadership training program for low-income adults, and connects them with career opportunities through its partner organizations. i.c.stars will be receiving six months of onGuard Managed Firewall service. onShore Networks will provide and manage a firewall appliance to protect the organization’s network from external threats.

Spark’s one-on-one workplace apprenticeships empower young people to succeed in their education and beyond. Spark Chicago will be receiving a new phone system that can serve up to 20 users. onShore Networks will provide the server and telephone handsets, the configuration of the system to meet Spark’s needs, and six months of service.
