Park International Hotel adopts Swisscom’s connected hotel TV technology to gain a competitive advantage

ConnectedHotel TV is the first interactive hotel TV solution that offers HD TV, video on demand, web-based services, wired and wireless Internet access through a purpose designed LG TV flat screen. Its flash-based user interface guarantees best-in-class response times, providing for a highly interactive guest experience. ConnectedHotel TV works on the existing hotel cabling and without any set-top boxes, thereby reducing acquisition, installation and running (energy) costs. Moreover, hoteliers benefit from a single operator who manages TV and high-speed Internet access services all the way from the central server to the TV screen.

London’s Park International Hotel, conveniently located in South Kensington near Gloucester Road tube station, comprises five Georgian style townhouses with a total of 198 guest rooms and suites. Its owner, TCC Hotels Group has initiated a refurbishment project aimed at re-positioning Park International Hotel as a high-end venue for both business and leisure guests.
