Installing a UDF reader utility will saves time and disc space, and allow you to open your CD-RW disc.
If you use a CD-RW drive with DirectCD formatting software, you may find that it’s not possible to read the CD-RW disc on another PC with an ordinary CD-R or CD-ROM drive. Rather than close the CD-RW disc before ejecting it, you can try installing a UDF reader utility on the PC that needs to read the disc. This saves time and disc space used to close the rewritable disc properly. You can usually download a suitable UDF reader from your CD-RW drive maker, or from Roxio (a new division of Adaptec) at http://www.roxio.com/.
