Save some space and remove the services you’re not going to use.
Most Windows 98 installations come preloaded with more online service options than anyone needs. Once you select a service and get your Internet connection hooked up, having other service options does nothing but clutter your hard drive. Save some space and remove the services that you’re not going to use. Click Start, Settings, Control Panel, and double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon. Select the Windows Setup tab, scroll down and double-click the Online Services entry. Uncheck the boxes for any online services you don’t use, and then click OK.
