Search Technologies Launches New Services Practice for Amazon CloudSearch

Herndon, VA (PRWEB) April 13, 2012

Search Technologies announced today that its full range of consulting and implementation services are available for Amazon CloudSearch. These services include experts-for-hire to help integrate Amazon CloudSearch into applications, and a rich set of pre-built data connectors for enterprise repositories such as Microsoft SharePoint and EMC Documentum.

According to Kamran Khan, CEO at Search Technologies, “We participated in the beta program for Amazon CloudSearch, and as a result we’ve already built an in-depth knowledge of this important new service. This brings a whole new dimension to the search market and positions us to immediately help customers exploit the capabilities of Amazon CloudSearch.”

To demonstrate this innovative new way to search, Search Technologies has developed a Lab using Wikipedia as the data set. The Wikipedia Search Lab, powered by Amazon CloudSearch and Search Technologies’ Aspire content processing framework, can be accessed at wikipedia.searchtechnologies.com.

Search Technologies’ Premium Data Connectors and the Aspire content processing framework have been implemented for Amazon CloudSearch, enabling content to be indexed, with full document level security if appropriate, regardless of whether it is stored in the cloud or behind the firewall. A new Premium Data Connector for Amazon S3 buckets has also been released.
