Additionally, Burks was EVP and CMO of Haggar Clothing, a branded and private label menswear company with revenues of nearly $500MM. During his 12-year tenure at the company Burks doubled the private label entity and launched and built a new sportswear brand into a business generating 65% of total volume and 70% of its profits—offsetting market-driven product category declines.
Before joining the apparel industry, Burks spent 17 years in global account management roles with Ogilvy and DDB.
