This new downloadable version of SPM also serves as an integrated FTP server for automated CDU firmware upgrades. Each CDU will compare the firmware version on the CDU against the version stored in the ftp server located within SPM and upgrade the CDUs firmware accordingly.

The latest version of SPM supports larger device deployments and new scheduling options for database maintenance, backups, outlet control, device discovery and options for daily, weekly or monthly reports. SPM also provides support for third-party power distribution units (PDUs), including APC, Geist and Raritan. Other new features include improved logging and Environmental Monitoring Control Unit (EMCU) support for additional temperature, humidity, dry contact and water sensor monitoring.
