Sharon Kleyne Calls on WEF To Expand Focus on Water Infrastructure

Water advocate Sharon Kleyne asks WEF to step up water infrastructure education efforts. Radio host Sharon Kleyne says Water Environment Federation can do more.

Grants Pass, OR (PRWEB) December 27, 2016

Since 1928, the Water Environment Federation has protected public health and the environment by connecting water professionals around the world, increasing awareness of the impact and value of water and providing a platform for water sector innovation. Yet, Sharon Kleyne, America’s leading water researcher, advocate and host of the nationally syndicated radio program, The Sharon Kleyne Hour Power of Water, Global Climate Change and Your Health on VoiceAmerica, thinks the Federation can do much more.

In a program last week, Sharon Kleyne warned listeners that earth dwellers must begin to take fresh water more seriously. “Fresh water supplies and outlets,” said Kleyne, “are evaporating at alarming rates; if we don’t reverse this trend, we will see our current global water crisis get much worse.” Kleyne pointed out that we are rapidly reaching the point where talk won’t save the planet. “We need action,” Kleyne said, “and that’s where the WEF can play a leading role.” Kleyne called on the Federation’s 33,000 individual members and 75 affiliated Member Associations around the world to refocus their efforts, naming water as the number one infrastructure priority everywhere on earth. “Too much of our fresh water is evaporating fast or simply running into the oceans,” Kleyne said. “It’s a terribly inefficient situation, and it’s an awful and life-threatening waste of our most valuable resource.” Kleyne insisted that the WEF is in a perfect position to playing a leading active and educational role in waking people up and promoting infrastructure plans and projects that put water first. She also urged listeners to become more proactive about water resources and storage issues.

For more than two decades, Sharon Kleyne’s research and new water technology discoveries at the research center she founded, Bio-Logic Aqua® Research Water Life Science®, have garnered international recognition for her as the global expert on dehydration of the eyes and skin due to excessive evaporation of the body’s water vapor. “From the moment we leave our mother’s water-womb and are born,” Kleyne said, “we begin a process of evaporation that continues until death. In order to sustain excellent health,” she went on, “one must supplement eyes and skin on a daily basis to replenish the evaporating water vapor.”

“I try to educate people around the world every day,” said Sharon Kleyne, “about the growing global water crisis, and the health dangers associated with dehydration due to excess evaporation of the earth’s water vapor. In doing so, we learn what we need to know to create a new, healthy Water Life Science® lifestyle.” Kleyne insisted that her efforts and those of the WEF can raise water awareness everywhere. “It’s imperative,” Kleyne said, “that we do this now!” Kleyne encouraged listeners and other interested parties to visit for more information about this new water technology and new water lifestyle.

“World leaders such as the Water Environment Federation must refocus and step up efforts to create the water infrastructure that earth needs,” said Sharon Kleyne. “If we fail to come together and do this,” Kleyne added, “we’ll surrender the planet—and ourselves—to dry and deadly consequences.
