“Facebook is undoubtedly the $100B gorilla in the room, but Social Dashboard is making a stand against FB’s policy of privacy invasion. In contrast, SD promises a ‘privacy guarantee.’ In other words, Social Dashboard values its users’ privacy whereas Facebook exploits every move of their users to the highest bidder. The buzz here in Silicon Valley is that Facebook has become an online regime – and I think the public wants more privacy.” – Aryeh Avraham, CEO
Social Dashboard’s innovation is a hybrid of profit and social responsibility. Profit will be generated similar to Craigslist and Google. However, Social Dashboard has a proprietary matrix that considers user ratings. SD does not allow a company to pay their way to top position if they have poor user ratings, but companies with higher user ratings for things such as customer service and price are given advertising discounts so they can be positioned at the top and be rewarded with more business. That is a socially conscious way to create value.
Social Dashboard is philosophically opposed to selling peoples behaviors to third parties because it believes it has a fiduciary responsibility to its users. Monetization today is based on the premise “if you’re not buying a product, your behavior is the product.” Analysts love Facebook now, but might sociologists have a different take on Facebook’s social longevity? If people stop trusting the site, they’ll go elsewhere. Social Dashboard is being developed to be that safe haven offering an improved social networking experience.
Social Dashboard aims to apply the tremendous amount of behavioral data to protect consumers as sort of a watchdog for false advertising, fraud, and negative personal campaigns. Other sites unfortunately allow abusive postings, irrelevant information and fraud.
Social Dashboard’s hybrid social media browser hopes to create relationships with companies like Craigslist, Google, Skype, YouTube, etc to aggregate content capable of satisfying the public need for functionality with socialization. Because of privacy protection and ability to create groups within the site, Social Dashboard can function as an intranet for organizations and businesses to exchange documents, videos, post notices, video conference, and so much more.
Social Dashboard is currently finalizing its user interface before the final programming is applied. Its public launch date depends on capital and support. Investors and programmers are asked to call or email to get involved in this very exciting piece of internet Real Estate.
