Houston, Texas (PRWEB) December 28, 2011
The International Social Media Association (ISMA) was shut down in early 2011 and left for dead. The social media marketing company SocialMediadd played a large role in saving the ISMA by sponsoring the association and helping rebuild the website and blog. The new site went live in December and the association plans to rebuild on the foundation of the sponsorship by SocialMediadd.
The ISMA has laid out three primary goals for 2012. The first goal is to offer free social media training to small business owners. Right now they are in the process of consolidating the most informative social media training videos onto one site. The free social media training site is already live and has received several thousand visitors who have taken advantage of the free training videos.
The second goal of the ISMA is to help place small business owners in need of social media marketing with accredited social media professionals. In the first quarter of 2012, the ISMA will be releasing their list of accredited social media companies and consultants on their website.
The third goal will be to help social media companies and professionals come together to share information. In the second quarter of 2012, the ISMA will open and market a social media forum for social media professionals. This will allow social media pros to share their best practices and ask questions of their peers.
With the help of SocialMediadd, the ISMA plans to be bigger and better than it ever was by offering free social media training, a list of accredited social media companies, and a forum for social media pros to interact.
