PCG and Publishing Technology Expand into India

London and New Delhi, 26 May 2011 - Publishers Communication Group (PCG), today opened an office in New Delhi, India.PCG, a division of Publishing Technology plc (LSE: PTO), the largest provider of software and services to the publishing industry, will be offering sales and marketing activities targeting the ever-growing academic readership in India to US and European scholarly publishers. Initially representing BioOne, the American Society for Microbiology, and Adam Matthew Digital, the New Delhi office will allow PCG to build stronger relationships with over 500 academic universities and over 3,000 technical education institutes in India for the publishers it represents.

SAGE awards major technology deal to Publishing Technology

April 19th 2011 - Publishing Technology plc (LSE: PTO), the largest provider of software and services to the publishing industry, today announced an agreement for major implementation project of its journal fulfilment software by leading international publisher SAGE. As one of the most prominent publishers of journals, books, and electronic media for academic, educational, and professional markets, SAGE will implement Publishing Technology’s proven software across the business to align its journals fulfilment systems globally with the Publishing Technology systems that are already implemented at CQ Press, a Washington-based publisher which was acquired by SAGE in 2008.
