The well-known Spanish SEO and marketing online company has decided to strengthen and complement the virtual and conceptual status of their already established international strategy and has endowed the overall strategy by opening a physical office in the city of Bucharest, Romania.
Since its inception in 1997, the Canal IP professionals have worked for clientes in some 32 countries from all over the world, offering them different services, and all that from their headquarters in Barcelona and Madrid. Today it ranks as the leading company in the sector. That´s why the opening of the offices in Romania seems a strange play.
Albert Mora, the spanish SEO of the company, presents the reasons why he opened the first international affiliate of Canal IP in the centre of Bucharest, and which he expects, it won´t be the last: “Romania belongs to the European Union and pretty soon will become part of the euro zone. It has highly qualificated professionals with reasonable labour costs; the competition in online marketing is not as high as in other countries; it has decent technologicals infrastracture; there are numerous flights from Barcelona and Madrid and the fligh only lasts 3 hours”.
For Mora, the qualification of the local human resources has been a pleasant surprise: “The language competences of the young professionals are impressive. To give you an idea, we have started with a staff of three people, which will be expanded to 6 in a month. These three persons are fluent in Romanian, English and Spanish, two of them speak pretty well French and Italian and one is fluent in German”.
In short, Canal IP moves forward and takes with determination the path of internalization, a quite logical step considering the fact that the company is willing to grow, even in a context of crisis, like the present. The company more exciting developments for 2012. You should keep an eye on it!
