The Leading Online Parcel Logging and Tracking Software Now Enables Apartment Managers to Subscribe and Pay Without Using a Credit Card

Orlando, FL, October 02, 2014 –(PR.com)– The ease of a customer friendly e-commerce system is now one of many unique features offered when subscribing to the affordable and easy to use PackageLog™ software (powered by Logware™). This software is essential for property managers looking to ease the increasing pain of managing residents’ incoming parcel deliveries.

PackageLog™ CEO Craig Meddin says, “It’s normal for apartment communities to request a paper invoice (often by mail), process internally and then send to corporate to issue a check. Because payments are often required in this way, many online software services are not options for most on-site apartment community management teams. This new feature will allow us to gain many new online subscribers who have been wanting to work with us.”

PackageLog™’s new e-commerce feature completely automates the payment process that is “normal” to the multi-housing family industry and offers both pay-by-credit-card and now pay-by-invoice options, giving clients complete control of set-up, subscription type, and method of payment.

“The Pay-by-Invoice option is a new adaptation to the traditional e-commerce credit card/e-check model, which is critical to our existing client base who often prefers to pay by invoice. In some cases, subscribing property managers were paying for service with their personal credit card and getting reimbursed, we felt there should be a better way,” explains Gustavo Ortiz, Director of Software Operations.

Unlike PackageLog™’s competitors, the e-commerce feature allows property managers to either pay by credit card or to choose the option to be invoiced and manage their account via check. The feature will also automatically let property managers know of any problems with their account, such as check not received, credit card about to expire and other issues that could cause the account to be suspended. As part of PackageLog™’s client-centric approach, they have included an automatically generated short grace period for subscriptions that run into trouble giving Property Managers time to resolve any issues electronically without interrupting their community’s PackageLog™ service.
