The diversity of pattern and color allow for many different styles and moods of décor – from a classic American country house to an ultra-modern Moroccan terrace, and many chic paths in between which all match perfectly set against teak patio furniture.
An oversized paisley evokes the heat and romance of India, turquoise and clear blues lay you down on the shores of Mystique. A cabaña stripe with circular cutouts becomes classic – but yet not. A floating fringe pattern evokes 1950’s beach umbrellas in the breeze. Oversized leaves, waves, flowers, scribbles, matchsticks and the perfect basket weave pattern round out this collection of fabric for outdoor furniture.
The outdoor fabric collection contains nine patterns, many coordinating solids, and three styles of fringe trim, which are made with the very same solution-dyed acrylic yarns as the fabric. The fringes come in stripe, tweed, or double-faced in a variety of color ways. All patterns are grounded with white and off-white backgrounds to enhance the crisp, clean look of starched white linen.
The brothers were lucky to have parents who loved traveling to places that always offered water, tennis, alfresco dining and glorious sunny days. Now, as adults, Doug & Gene continually travel across the globe for inspiration – both recently realizing they frequently travel to lands where color and pattern mixing are a way of life. Recent trips include India, Nepal, Brazil, Argentina, Australia, Japan, the Islands of the Bahamas and their beloved Morocco. Both brothers currently live between Miami and New York City.
Not to mention, Link Design creates beautifully designed teak patio furniture for both residential and hospitality projects that can be adorned with these gorgeous fabrics.
