The integration with Google’s map API allows customers to view the entire TravelIntelligence.com collection of boutique and luxury hotels in detailed map or satellite view – down to street level – and to print out a map with directions. The new advanced hotel filtering system opens up the site’s vast internal hotel tagging database functionality, making it possible to sort and filter hotels by everything from baby-sitting services and pet-friendliness to bar and restaurant facilities. Far-reaching improvements to site architecture and usability focused on making it easier for customers and search engines to find and navigate the extensive travel writing section – a move that is expected to contribute to the ongoing growth of the leader in this market niche.
