New York, NY (PRWEB) January 02, 2012
In one of the best redesigns of the new year, Tripped Media relaunched its website almost three months after its creation. The free independent media company blends journalism, blogging and social networking. Tripped Media has quickly grown to become New York’s largest digital magazine dedicated to Generation Y.
“Over the past three months we have seen a tremendous amount of support both locally and globally,“ said Tripped Media Co-Founder John Sumpter. “Once we earned readership in over 100 countries we realized that a publishing outlet designed specifically for the millennial generation was not only popular but bridged a gap for the millennial community at large.”
After utilizing suggestions from the twentysomething community, Tripped Media redesigned its website in an effort to promote greater user interaction for those with a budget lifestyle. The internet startup company focuses on issues ranging from politics to entertainment. This is done through various forms of new media including infographics, live blogging and fast news articles.
For the month of January the company will be donating $25 at the end of each week to a charity chosen by its readers and will live blog the Iowa Caucus. Tripped Media constantly strives to have an impact on the growth and direction of the millennial generation in NYC and abroad. Created by young unemployed college graduates the founders represent the very demographic they seek to reach.
Established in 2011, Tripped Media is an independent publisher with contributors holding backgrounds on various academic, social, and political levels. All graduates of Syracuse University, Tripped Media’s co-founders are seeking to redefine what digital media can accomplish.
