This prestigious award honors and generates public recognition of the efforts, accomplishments, and positive contributions of companies and business people worldwide. More than 177,000 votes were cast in this year’s competition in which the general public voted for their favorite providers of customer service across eight categories.
In addition to receiving the People’s Choice Award, TRX was a named finalist in the 5th annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service in the following categories: Innovation in Customer Service and Customer Service Department of the Year – Airlines, Distribution & Transportation.
TRX earned this recognition for Innovation in Customer Service by demonstrating a proactive approach to customer service and providing its clients with innovative solutions. For example, TRX clients expressed the need to track and be able to communicate with their company travelers in the event of an emergency during a recent TRX Corporate Advisory Board session. TRX created a solution to address this need through its TRAVELTRAX reporting and analytics tool, thereby enabling TRX clients with the ability to instantly notify their travelers via e-mail and SMS messaging services during the recent volcanic ash crisis as part of TRX’s integrated traveler security and traveler tracking suite.
The nomination for Customer Service Department of the Year – Airlines, Distribution & Transportation was earned by TRX’s team that performs exception management for the world’s largest online travel agencies. Any passenger flight that needed to be refunded, moved, exchanged, or cancelled had to come through the TRX schedule change and ticketing teams.
