"The number of veterans unemployed at this time is incredibly troubling," said Kevin O’Brien, Vice President, Business Development, UBM Studios Milicruit. "We are thrilled to have the support and cooperation of many veteran service organizations including Military Officers Association of America, Wounded Warrior Project, Disabled American Veterans, Department of Labor – VETS, Veterans Affairs – Vet Success, USO, IAVA, Hire Heroes USA, Walter Reed Medical Center, and the Student Veterans of America for our virtual career fairs. Together, we have been able to bring together more than 20,000 veterans and over 100 industry leading employers in our virtual career fairs. ¬†We look forward to building on this in 2011 and beyond."

The virtual career fair provides job seekers the ability to walk the exhibit floor; visit employer booths; view/apply for jobs; chat with recruiters; build a network of peers; and perhaps even secure a follow up video interview, all from the comfort and convenience of home.
