UK Uniform Tax Rebate Website Launches to Help Workers Reduce Their Tax Bill in 2014

The UniformTax.net website has been launched to help UK workers reduce their yearly tax bill and increase their monthly take home pay

(PRWEB) October 10, 2014

Workers in the UK who are required to wear a uniform or specialist and protective clothing as part of the terms of their employment now have a new website to turn to in order to reduce their monthly outgoings and even successfully apply for a rebate against taxes already paid. That website is UniformTax.net, and its recent launch in the third quarter of 2014 is a site that was setup to help applicants find out if they are eligible for this tax rebate scheme, and also find out how much they could save, and even help them make their claim.

The uniform tax rebate website was in the planning stages for some time, with a mock-up version online while the team were testing out exactly how the website would function. However, now the team behind UniformTax.net are pleased to announce the website is live and ready to start supporting applicants make their claim. “After opening our virtual doors and setting the website live this quarter, we are pleased to finally let the public give it a try and see how much money they could be saving each month” the product manager behind UniformTax.net shared.

Thanks to the UK uniform tax rebate scheme put in place by the government, UK workers can now offset the costs of maintaining and replacing their mandatory uniforms against their yearly taxable income. If they qualify, workers will then see a lower tax rate going forward, as well as having the opportunity to make a claim for overpaid tax from the previous five years.

The launch of this scheme prompted the team behind the uniform tax rebate website to start offering an online service to helps workers learn more about the scheme, find out if they quality, and then take care of their application for them. “We’ve been working in the tax and finance sectors for a while and when we learned of this program that allows UK workers to claim some money back against their uniform costs, we decided to setup a website focused on this, and thus the UniformTax.net website was born” one of the team members behind the website explained. “Initially we started off by just sharing information about the scheme, but since then we have moved to helping workers make them claims in order to simplify the process for them, and also increase the chances of their claim being successful” he continued.

As the rules of this uniform tax back scheme can be difficult to interpret, with different allowances made depending on the field the claimant works in, a service that takes care of the entire application process from start to finish has been welcomed by some workers. “When I started looking into making a claim I found it quite difficult to navigate the system” one successful claimant explained. “At first I wasn’t even sure if I qualified, then I found it difficult to determine which classification of worker I came under, and finally I had trouble filling in the necessary forms to make the claim, I was just about to give up when I found this website that takes care of everything for you” he revealed, before sharing how much money he was able to recover in overpaid taxes from the last few years.

With many workers regarding the current tax system in place difficult to navigate, a service that takes the guess work and bureaucracy out of the application process has been a welcome addition for many of those interested in making a claim. As more workers are seeing their wages remain stagnant over the years, any opportunity to reduce the amount of tax they pay has been an attractive proposition, which has helped websites like UniformTax.net see an increase in visitors month on month.
