The compact universal programmer, model VP590, starts programming automatically upon detection of chip insertion under auto-run mode and is fully compatible with Windows XP/2000/NT/Vista operating systems. The programmer accepts standard file formats such as JEDEC, INTEL (Extended) HEX, HOLTEK, EMC (CDS), INTEL HEX16 and Motorola S record.
It includes a 48-pin ZIF socket and manages 16 and 32-bit word split. The programmer supports most compilers in JEDEC format including ABEL, CUPL, PALASM, TANGO PLD, ORCAD PLD, PLD Designer and ISDATA. In addition, it easily connects with a laptop or PC through a USB port.
