Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) October 20, 2011

Leading cloud-based voice-solutions provider Vocalocity and its subsidiary Aptela have been ranked 62nd and 500th on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America, Vocalocity announced today. Vocalocity’s Chief Executive Officer, Wain Kellum, credits growing opportunities selling to small businesses coupled with the unique value of cloud-based communications with the company’s revenue growth. “It is a very unique honor to oversee not just one, but two companies on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500,” said Kellum. “These recognitions show that Vocalocity and Aptela were market leaders on their own merits and further validate the rationale for bringing two great companies together – to take the market leaders in the cloud communications sector and make one clear choice for small businesses to select as their mission critical voice provider.”

“Vocalocity and Aptela, like all 2011 Technology Fast 500™ companies, have excelled in fostering innovation and channeling it into spectacular growth – against the backdrop of one of the most challenging economies in history,” said Eric Openshaw, vice chairman and U.S. technology, media and telecommunications leader, Deloitte LLP. “Deloitte recognizes Vocalocity and Aptela for their remarkable accomplishments.”

“We are pleased to honor Vocalocity and Aptela as 2011 Technology Fast 500 companies,” said Mark Jensen, managing partner, technology and venture capital services, Deloitte & Touche LLP. “As two of the fastest growing tech companies in North America, Vocalocity and Aptela have demonstrated excellence in technological innovation, entrepreneurship and rapid growth.”
