Frost & Sullivan, the growth partnership company, and Planview, an innovator in portfolio management for more than 20 years, are collaborating for a complimentary webcast on January 25, highlighting the latest trends in innovation and product development for 2012.
Along with addressing the current business challenges associated with innovation, R&D and product development, the webcast will feature Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, the second fastest growing company worldwide. The company’s lessons learned on effective end-to-end product portfolio management to drive quick decision-making across the executive team will be detailed during the webcast.
“The question of whether your resources are working on the right projects right now may be easy to ask, but quite complicated to answer. Partly because it’s such a difficult question to answer, a number of competitive solutions are emerging for integrated product portfolio analysis,” said Leo O’Connor, Vice President, Global Research – Technical Insights, Frost & Sullivan.
“One of the key applications is for new product development, which is closely tied to innovation. This can be product innovation or innovation related to other business activities such as marketing, business processes and business models,” he continued.
Discussion will center on Green Mountain Coffee Roasters’ rapid growth and product expansion across beverage offerings and brewing platforms, providing a prime example of innovative product development in a fast-paced business.
Following the presentation, there will be 15 minutes allotted for questions from webcast participants.
