The world’s first shipping FPGA built on 28nm process technology was recognized for advanced features – such as the family’s Agile Mixed Signal (AMS) analog interface and 12.5Gbps serial transceivers – that meet key customer requirements for delivering optimal price-performance at the lowest power consumption. The Kintex-7 FPGA was also recognized for its excellent extensibility that stems from the unified architecture of the entire Xilinx’s 28nm 7 Series families. Starting with a Kintex-7 device, the unified architecture enables designers to easily scale their designs down to the smallest Artix™-7 FPGA all the way up to the largest Virtex®-7 FPGA that uses breakthrough silicon interposers and through-silicon vias (TSV) technologies to support designs using up to a record 2 million logic cells.
